Our story

Soft Spot is a small cookie bakery built around a single cookie — and we're still figuring it out, one step at a time. It started in a home kitchen: one oven, small runs, batch after batch of adjustments, until friends stopped asking for the recipe and started insisting: "You should sell these."

Now the cookies are baked to order, never sitting around waiting for a buyer. You order, we bake, you pick up.

The name came from family: George's fiancée suggested "Soft Spot" — because everyone has one. Ours is this cookie.

Boxes come in half a dozen or a dozen, in the original and a rotating cast of limited flavours, for pickup or at our pop-ups around the GTA.
